What to eat at Changi Jewel? YumzYumz tried out Tapas Club located on the 3rd floor of the Jewel maze. Let’s find out and review how their paella de marisco was.

Their Paella De Marisco, or seafood paella, was almost as if we were having claypot rice, but only with a thin layer of rice at the bottom of the pan. However, the rice were impeccably made, with intense stock and complexity being soaked up into every grain. Each grain was bursting with savoury and umami flavour, gooey yet caramelized to perfection.

Bits and pieces of squid were found scattered within, providing a chewy texture in every bite.

On top were 3 huge prawns, deshelled with only its tail and head intact. Each prawn head was full of its delicious inner stuff, or hepatopancreas, sweet and intense, simply irresistible.

At $35 per order, it was no doubt top in quality, but in terms of quantity, we were definitely begging for more.

To summarize, Tapas Club’s seafood paella was tremendously enjoyable, and costly.
